My passion for design started in middle school, when I would take images from magazines my parents bought to recreate layouts using collage techniques. I've also always been a big fan of words and stories and have a huge respect for writers and editors. This naturally led me to start out as a magazine designer.
With over 20 years of experience in the publishing and creative agency industries, I now conceptualize visual campaigns, as well as plan, art direct and prop-style food and lifestyle photography and video. I thrive on pushing the creative limits of what is required for each project, and brainstorming and collaborating to achieve the best visual solution. I live by Mies van der Rohe's famous motto: "Less is more."
I work closely with designers, photographers and stylists to plan and produce shoots, sometimes personally sourcing specific objects that will create the right look.
I also love to design books, posters, annual reports...Lastly, I am a huge film fan, and dream of being a film decorator.
